In Ramadan everyone wants to eat delicious dishes for iftar after great fasting but do not want to stand in the kitchen for long time.Lets imagine our iftar table without pakora.Doesn't it seem empty?Yes,it does. So,in this blog post I am sharing a very easy yet mouth-watering recipe of pakora for your iftar.
Ingredients:
*Potatoes(grated):3 cups
*Onions(grated):1-1/2 cups
*Mint leaves(chopped):1/2 cup
*Garlic(chopped):1 tablespoon
*Gram flour/chickpea flour:
*Red chili powder:1/2 teaspoon
*Salt:1 teaspoon
*Water:1 cup
*Oil:for deep frying
Method:
Take a big bowl to mix all the ingredients.Add grated potatoes, onions, mint leaves, finely chopped garlic, red chili powder, salt and gram flour.Combine everything with the help of a spoon or your hand. After mixing everything, add water to make a paste. On the other hand, leave oil for heating on the stove.Test the oil by dropping in a little piece of paste to the oil.To make them, you need a spoonful mixture and plop it in the hot oil very gently.Do not overcrowd the pan.Once the pakora become golden from one side, turn them over. When these are completely done, fish them out on kitchen tissue paper.Serve them hot with your favourite chuttney or dip.
